2025 Electric Range Rover taken to the limit

Land Rover is extreme testing the electric Range Rover. Reservations for the luxury 4x4 opened in late-2023, with deliveries starting next year.
It’s expected to be built on a modified version of the current MLA platform at Solihull, and will retain the brand’s iconic off-road capabilities.
Testing includes hot-weather trials in 122°F and 90% humidity, plus punishing sand dune climbs in Dubai – so that high kerb at Croydon Tesco shouldn’t be an issue.
Arctic testing last winter saw prototypes endure -40°F, with traction systems optimised for low-grip conditions using electric motors instead of brakes.
Future models include an electric Range Rover Sport, a Velar replacement and three EVs for Jaguar.
