Audi is expanding its Q4 e-tron range with a new entry-level model, offering extensive standard equipment, a range of up to 258 miles, and 165kW DC fast charging. The new Q4 40 e-tron, equipped with a 63kWh battery, will be available to order from 13 March, bringing greater accessibility to Audi’s premium electric SUV lineup.
The Q4 e-tron was the UK’s second best-selling electric vehicle in 2024. To attract more buyers, the new variant lowers the price point while maintaining impressive performance. The SUV delivers up to 250 miles of range, while the Sportback achieves 258 miles. Under ideal conditions, fast charging takes the battery from 10% to 80% in just 24 minutes, with 93 miles of range added in 10 minutes.
Powered by a 204PS synchronous motor on the rear axle, the Q4 40 e-tron accelerates from 0-62mph in 8.1 seconds, reaching a top speed of 99mph. It achieves 3.9 miles/kWh efficiency and offers a towing capacity of up to 1,200kg on an eight percent incline.

Charging efficiency is enhanced by an intelligent route planner and automatic battery preconditioning. Drivers can also manually enable battery preheating via the MMI system, which displays available fast-charging power. This ensures optimised charging results at every station, reducing downtime and improving convenience.
