Cox Automotive has introduced an appraisal and valuation tool specifically designed for light commercial vehicles (LCVs). This software uses a tailored question set to capture details on LCV-focused specifications and condition, generating accurate trade-in valuations.
The question set aligns with the new National Association of Motor Auctions (NAMA) condition grading for LCVs. It accounts for greater tolerance of wear and usage compared to cars, and includes features unique to LCVs, such as load areas, signwriting, racking and accessories.
Valuations are based on Cox Automotive’s extensive wholesale market database and third-party insights, ensuring accuracy by factoring in the vehicle’s derivative, specification and condition.
The eVA for LCV tool allows commercial dealers and manufacturers to provide an integrated part-exchange process comparable to that offered to car buyers, enhancing the experience for van owners.
