Most-stolen vans revealed in DVLA report


A van is stolen every 46 minutes, according to new DVLA data
. The DVLA stats show that 11,273 vans, worth £200 million, were reported stolen in 2024 across England, Wales and Scotland.

While thefts are down from 2023, van security remains a major concern.
The Ford Transit was most targeted, with 5906 stolen (52% of all van thefts), though 2041 were recovered.
The Peugeot Boxer had the highest theft rate relative to licensed vans, with 7.7 per 1000 registered vehicles stolen.
